dear friends
welcome back to the real world
raw silk : fear mode in india
The fear of the unknown is always high and the chinese holidays
provided the same situation. the indian market was abound with rumours and misinformation that the chinese market will fall down after the holidays. Total illogical and baseless statements. Based on the statistics and supply demand ratio it is very clear that the down fall is still faraway. however the week has weakened the indian market and prices have remained on the down ward tendency , but this situation will change once the new offers from china will reflect the stability and the indian market will have to follow sooner or later. overall the situation is not very good with sales volumes at its lowest in the whole of last year and we may not have much steam left now for the upward movement, hence the best way now is to remain stable and let the market go its own way .
The worst indian fear is the weakening of chinese prices , if chinese
quote show any weakness then the indian market will crash as there are many sellers locally.
the upcoming fair in hongkong will again be the deciding factor for the new trend and tendency. it is in the interest of the market that it remains stable till march end .
the same scenerio is prevelent in dupion , tussah and fabrics , however dupions shortage should be felt in the next few weeks and it may remain upward this year .
