About market mood, definitely nobody in Europe wants to (can?) pay present price level and most users have enough to wait and see for a while, that is also what we are doing.
All the western silk community is now squeezed between unaffordable prices of material and buying power of customers that are refusing any further step up of prices. Let see what happens.

Indian market, though also increasing, is not keeping the exact pace as Chinese market is doing. As against your price level of us38-39,our market at present is only compatible with us34 level. Indian Silk n fabrics market r going flat at the moment.
At such exorbitant rates,Although there are no imports from India. However I hv been told that there is reasonable demand from domestic market as well as Japan n Europe ,owing to which the high level can be sustainable till the arrival of the new crop.
