Dear friends
Raw silk : it is nice to see that raw silk in china is stabilizing however the panic visible in china regarding the anti dumping of fabrics is really amazing , I do not understand why the panic is so high ?
Anti dumping is a law which will come sooner or later , but this does not mean that the business will stop or there may be no exports to India , the export will continue irrespective of the anti dumping.
The Chinese weaving mill should be thankful that they have enough time now to plan the future , it is obvious that they have to readjust their production lines and reduce their capacity to 50 % straight away which will rectify the supply demand chain in the post anti dumping atmosphere , India normally was importing about 6 million meters and post anti dumping this quantity will float around 2.5 to 3 million meters per month , the coming season will generate a good demand for 12101 and below 50 gm crepe de chine .
It is imperative that the weaving mills quickly adapt to the situation and there Is no need to panic .
