On Oct. 28, contracts of cocoon and silk were formally traded.
1994
On June 3, an investigative team from Japan Yokohama Commodity Exchange visited CCSE.
On Oct. 31, electronic contract was traded in the whole day through Monday to Tuesday.
1995
On Sept. 20, an investigative team on cocoon and silk circulation from Japan visited CCSE.
1996
On Mar. 18, Nanchong Trading Center of CCSE was opened.
On June 6, an investigative team les by Yihui, vice-president of foreign trading Department under National Economic& Trade Commission, visited CCSE.
On Sep. 17, a team led by Zhou Zhengqing, assistant secretary general of the State Council and leader of National Cocoon and Silk Coordination Team, accompanied by Ye Rongbao, vice-president of Zhejiang Province, Ling Rencai, general manager of Zhejiang Silk Co., Ltd. visited CCSE.
1997
On Nov.13, Zhang Kegang, vice-minister of State Economic& Trade Commission and general vice-director of National Cocoon and Silk Coordination Team, visited CCSE.
1998
On May 18, Low-grade Raw Silk was traded.
1999
On Jan. 27, the combined investigative team led by Wang Beiying, vice-director of Foreing Trading Department under State Economic& Trade Commission and of State Coordination Office of Cocoon and Silk, which was composed of State Ministry of Foreign Trade, State Economic and Trade Commission and China Silk Industrial Co., visited CCSE. They also heard the involved departments debrief the goings.
On Nov.17, CCSE website(www.nonwoven-interlining.cn)was formally open.
2000
On July 12, electronic contract trading system through network was established.
2001
The annual turnover broke through 10 billion at first time.
2002
On May 24, Zhang Yanhua, director of Foreign Trading Department under State Economic& Trade Commission, visited CCSE.
2003
The annual turnover broke through 20 billion at first time.
On Jan. 1, English version for www.nonwoven-interlining.cn was established.
On Feb.24, CCSE was awarded Zhejiang Four Star Market by Zhejiang Industrial& commercial Administration Bureau, and CCSE became the first one in Jiaxing.
On Aug. 28, The electronic contract of High-grade Raw Silk was traded.
2004
On Mar.24, Xijianping, president of Zhejiang Province Government, visited CCSE. He confirmed and supported the new circulation pattern of cocoon and silk applied by CCSE through e-commerce technology.
CCSE was awarded as Powerful Market of Zhejiang Province and one of 100 top markets in Zhejiang Province by Zhejiang Industrial& commercial Administration Bureau.
On Apr.22-23, Members' meeting was held in Wuyishan, Fujian Province. 105 member firms and spot traders attended the meeting.
On May 21, the auction system was opened up which provided a channel for millers to sell online directly and a bridge between mills and end-users.
On Aug. 16, CCSE 3rd Project opening ceremony was held.
On Nov. 29, president of Japan Yokohama Commodity Exchange visited CCSE.
2005
On May 22-24, 1st Extraordinary Members’ Meeting of CCSE was held in Chengdu,
the capital of Sichuan province.
On Aug. 20, CCSE’s first-ever hearing on loading and discharging charges
for deliverable dried cocoons collected by registered warehouses was held on
Jiaxing Broadcasting & TV center.
On Oct. 20-23, CCSE attended 2005 China International Silk Fair which was
held at Hangzhou Peace International Convention & Exhibition Center.
On Nov. 24, the 2nd Extraordinary Members’ Meeting of CCSE was held in Jiaxing Sunshine Hotel.
2006
On May 24-25, China·Jiaxing Silk Forum organized by CCSE was held in Jiaxing Sunshine Hotel. It's a new attempt and good start for CCSE to go toward globalization.
On July 25, Hongkong Sinotrade Global Limited Jiaxing Office had the opening ceremony, which marks the first foreign corporation joining CCSE officially.
On Oct. 26-30, CCSE attended 2006 China International Silk Fair that was held at Hangzhou Peace International Convention & Exhibition Center.
On Nov. 3, Wang Xinpei, Director of the Department of Information Technology of Ministry of Commerce, visited CCSE. Director Wang affirmed the functionality of the electronic market and hoped that CCSE would make more efforts to serve the industry.
