Silk products imported from China by US in November
According to the statistics of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the import value of silk products from China in November was 123 million US dollars, dropping 3.44% and 1.52% from last year and month respectively, accounting for 32.10% of the global imports with no obvious change on proportion from last month. Silk filament: imported from China amounted to 399.7 thousand US dollars, falling 14.29% and 46.20% from the previous year and month respectively, continuing the downward trend of last month with the market share of 54.18%, basically the same as last month. The import quantity was 17.72 tons, growing 4.83% and dropping 2.52% from the previous year and month respectively, with the market share of 83.05%, increasing significantly in proportion.
Silk fabrics: imported from China amounted to 2.7667 million US dollars, falling 45.41% and 19.08% from the previous year and month respectively, with a market share of 15.66%, surpassed by Taiwan, China again being the third in the ranking.
Silk madeups: imported from China amounted to 120 million US dollars, dropping 1.66% and 0.76% from the previous year and month respectively, accounting for 32.85% of the market share, a slight decrease from the previous month.
