Anhui Xinyuan Tianzhu Cocoon and Silk Co., Ltd. was established in No. 12, Shunqiao Road, Qianshan Economic Development Zone in October 2015. Wholly-owned by Jiangsu Xinyuan Cocoon and Silk Group, it is a key investment attraction enterprise of the local government, a Key Leading Agricultural Industrialized Enterprise of Anhui Province, a Provincial Demonstration Agricultural Industrialization Consortium, and an Excellent Leading Enterprise in Qianshan City in 2021. The company undertakes the task of cocoon and silk integration project of Qianshan City, mainly engaged in the production and sales of silkworm eggs, silkworm breeding tools, mulberry seedlings, fresh cocoons (collecting and drying), dried cocoons, raw silk, twisted silk filament, silk fabrics, cocoon and silk products, clothing, home textiles, silk crafts, tourism commodities, skin care products and beverage. In 2021, its sales revenue reached 150 million yuan.
Since its official start in Dec. 2015, the company has done great efforts on the company operation, including mobilizing high-quality resources from Jiangsu Group Headquater, technically transforming the production equipment, perfecting the assessment and incentive system，boosting employees’ enthusiasm，increasing the enterprise affinity and continuously enhancing the product quality. At present, the company has 68 employees, including 7 professional and technical personnel, 4 sets of advanced 2000 automatic reeling machines, 3 sets of A-II rereeling machines, FX4516 auxiliary machines and other professional reeling equipment, and also it has a complete set of waste water recycling system, all these ensuring the production of high quality raw silk, which has kept the advanced level of Grade 5A and above and sold well at home and abroad.
High-quality development is the company's eternal theme. With the idea of "Quality First, Integrity Management and Steady Development", the company has been always committed to the integrated development of cocoon and silk. Seven years since its establishment, on the basis of 1333 hectars of the original mulberry fields, the company has integrated and transformed the abandoned old mulberry fields, and implemented large-scale, intensive and labor-saving silkworm breeding modal through making incentive policies to support farmers to set up sericulture farms. Through years of efforts, there are about 666 hectars of newly developed high-quality sericulture bases, which have provided abundant raw materials needed in the company’s daily production.
Since this year，the company has begun to build an industrialized operation model of "leading enterprise + sericultural professional cooperative + sericultural household farm + large-scale silkworm breeding farmers", and expand to the deep processing of mulberry silk, in order to build the whole industrial chain of cocoon and silk in Qianshan City, and contribute to the sustainable, healthy and steady development of the local cocoon and silk industry.
