According to China Customs statistics, the export value of China's silk filament in 2023 was about 430.05 million U.S. dollars, a decrease of 10.28% from the previous year; the export quantity was 7729.51 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 12.99%; and the average unit price was 55.6 thousand U.S. dollars per ton, up 3.11% year-on-year.According to the ranking of export value, among the top five major silk filament export markets, India and Japan fell by 36.31% and 10.81% year-on-year respectively, and Vietnam surpassed Japan to rank third in the main export markets.The top five markets in terms of export value were: the European Union (down 5.6% year-on-year, accounting for 40.41%), India (down 36.31% year-on-year, accounting for 21.61%), Vietnam (up 12.11% year-on-year, accounting for 10.7%), Japan (down 10.81% year-on-year, accounting for 9.68%), and the United States (up 25.79% year-on-year, accounting for 3.42%).
