Guangxi Hengye Silk Group Co., Ltd. is located in Yizhou District, Hechi City, Guangxi. It is a leading enterprise in the industry which integrates purchase, processing and sales of fresh cocoons, production and sales of silk filament, fabric and garments. Hengye Group has six holding subsidiaries, namely Hechi Hengye Cocoon and Silk Co., Ltd., Xincheng County Hengye Silk Co., Ltd., Hechi Dongfang Silk Road Silk Co., Ltd., Luzhai Classical Mulberry Silk Weaving Co., Ltd., Liucheng Hengtai Cocoon& Silk Co., Ltd., and Guangxi Sililai Import&Export Trading Co., Ltd., with more than 3,900 employees. The Group currently has 126 sets of Feiyu 2008 automatic reeling machines with an annual output of 3,200 tons of raw silk. It also has 76 Itema R9000 high-speed rapier looms with an annual output of 5 million meters of grey silk fabrics. In 2023, the company achieved an annual output value of 1.69 billion yuan and self-operated export earnings of 34.7 million US dollars.

At present, the sales proportion of raw silk is: 81% for domestic sales and 19% for exports; by grade is: 50% for 4A, 30% for 5A, and 20% for 6A;
the sales proportion of silk fabrics by type is: 25% for crepe series, 9% for elastic series, 16% for satin series, 15% for habotai series, 13% for sheer series, and 22% for gauze series.
The Hengye group has been vigorously promoting brand building. It has two raw silk brands, namely "Hengye Brand" and "Silk Road Imprint", which have won honorable titles such as Guangxi Top Ten Raw Silk Brands and Guangxi Well-known Trademarks. The products are within the national geographical indication production areas and have been rated as "China Eco-Origin Protected Products". It has two well-known trademarks in Guangxi, namely "Fangyan Zhiyu" for home textile products and "Luofu Shijia" for clothing products. About 200 tons of raw silk and 600,000 meters of silk fabrics pass the EU GOTS organic product certification every year, and 95% of which are self - operated for export to Europe.
